This is a very traditional guacamole recipe that won’t let you down. Opt for a sweet onion if you have it. Feel free to add more cilantro or jalapeño to adjust it for your tastes.

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, mashed
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp. lime Juice
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. salt

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
