This is a very traditional guacamole recipe that won’t let you down. Opt for a sweet onion if you have it. Feel free to add more cilantro or jalapeño to adjust it for your tastes.
Ingredients
- 2 avocados, mashed
- ½ onion, chopped
- 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
- 2 Tbsp. lime Juice
- ⅛ tsp. pepper
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- ½ tsp. salt
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
