If you’re incorporating roasted garlic, caramelized onions, or other vegetables that bring a lot of moisture to the loaf, keep in mind that the extra liquid will influence the proofing process. Reduce the liquid by 1-2 tablespoons, depending on how wet your ingredients are. Dry ingredients like garlic powder, nutritional yeast, onion powder, dried herbs, or spices are all good options for flavoring the bread without adding moisture.
