Spaghetti with tomato sauce is an American favorite. Instead of making the meal more filling by adding ground meat, stir in canned beans! If you’ve got beans leftover from another recipe, add them instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 T. oil
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 32 oz. 3 Guiding Stars pasta sauce
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans no-salt-added white beans
  • 1 (14.5) box 3 Guiding Stars spaghetti

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat oil. Add onion and sauté until soft, 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and bell pepper and cook until pepper begins to soften.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and beans. Heat over medium until warm.
  3. While sauce is heating, cook spaghetti according package directions.
  4. Serve hot spaghetti topped with sauce.
