Fiesta Hummus

There’s only one dish that says “Fiesta time!” more than hummus, and that’s salsa. This dish combines elements of the two for a brilliantly fun party side.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15½ oz.) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ tsp. cumin
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup fat-free, plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped

Directions

  1. Drain and mash garbanzo beans in blender, food processor, or with fork.
  2. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Serve.
