Snack Hacks at Work: Helping Associates Make Healthy Choices

Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 12:00 pm EST

Do you have an interest in employee wellness or healthy snacking? Most of us snack multiple times a day, and snacks can be part of an overall healthy diet. However, many food and beverages Americans snack on aren’t nutrient dense. And making healthy choices can be especially challenging while snacking at work.

Join dietitians Garrick Brown and Mandy Katz as they discuss how employers can benefit from helping associates improve snacking at work. They will provide promotional strategies and snack suggestions that everyone will crave. After attending, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the health effects of snacking
  • Share the role employers play in workplace eating
  • Provide convenient and affordable snack suggestions
  • Discuss employer strategies to support healthy snacking
