If you love a creamy texture with your turkey sandwich (and really, who doesn’t?), avocado and hummus are an excellent pairing. They provide texture and flavor that takes turkey to the next level.


  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread
  • ¼ avocado
  • 2 Tbsp. hummus
  • 1 oz. sliced light cheddar cheese
  • 1 handful mixed greens
  • 2 oz. Guiding Stars-worthy sliced turkey breast


  1. Toast bread, if desired. Mash avocado and spread on one slice of the bread.
  2. Spread hummus on the other slice.
  3. Layer remaining ingredients to build the sandwich and serve immediately.
