Grilled Tequila Turkey

If you’re looking for a fun summer grill recipe that’s easy to put together for a crowd, look no further. This lean and delicious turkey would be great eaten as a sandwich with a fresh coleslaw.

Ingredients

  • Marinade:

    • ½ cup lemon juice
    • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
    • ¼ cup tequila
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 onion, sliced
    • ¼ cup minced red pepper

    Turkey:

    • 1½ lbs. turkey breast filets

Directions

  1. Whisk together marinade ingredients. Place turkey in marinade and marinate in the refrigerator (2-12 hours).
  2. Heat grill to high. Grill the turkey until it reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165ºF (3-4 minutes per side).
