We’re excited to announce the merger of our parent company Delhaize Group with Netherlands-based global retailer Ahold.
The newly established company, Ahold Delhaize, will include nearly 2,000 stores along the United States East Coast, including Hannaford Supermarkets, Stop & Shop, Giant and Food Lion. Combined with overseas operations, Ahold Delhaize will operate approximately 6,500 stores across 11 countries with 375,000 associates.
