Think you don’t like Brussels sprouts? Think again. The savory Dijon sauce sparks with the sweet, cabbage-y notes to create a vegetable dish that no one in your family is likely to turn up their noses at. With the added fact that this dish is conveniently just tossed into a slow cooker, you’ve got not excuses to not give Brussels sprouts a try.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Wash and trim the ends of each sprout and cut in half. Toss into 2-quart slow cooker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours. Stir well before serving.
