Speedy and using nothing you can’t store in a freezer or pantry, this recipe is the perfect trick to keep tucked up your sleeve for impossibly busy nights. To round it out as a meal, add leftover chicken or a can of white beans.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. whole wheat rotini
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (24 oz.) jar Guiding Stars-worthy tomato sauce
  • 12 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. While pasta cooks, in a medium skillet over medium heat, sauté oil and garlic until fragrant (5 minutes).
  3. Stir in sauce and spinach and heat through (4-5 minutes)
  4. Toss pasta with sauce and spinach to serve.
