This quick and easy side dish will add flair to any meal without a lot of extra work. Sometimes the simplest preparations let quality ingredients shine through.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs. asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF. Wash asparagus and cut off ends. Coat a baking dish with cooking spray or parchment paper.
  2. Place asparagus in baking dish, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake until tender (15 minutes).
