America’s Independence Day coincides with the peak of fresh berry season, making this salad the perfect choice to celebrate the 4th of July.

Ingredients

Dressing:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tsp. honey
  • ½ tsp. tarragon
  • ¼ tsp. pepper

Salad:

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 cups baby spinach
  • ¾ cup blueberries
  • 3 pears, cored and diced
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup blue cheese

Directions

  1. Whisk together dressing ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, gently together salad ingredients. Toss with dressing to serve.
