Jicama? In a smoothie? Oh, yes. The lightly sweet, faintly tart vegetable makes a stellar partner to the tropical flavors of pineapple and orange.


  • ½ cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
  • ½ cup jicama, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup fresh orange chunks
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • Ice cubes


  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.  Pour into glasses and serve.
