This quick and easy side dish that will compliment almost any meal. Fresh green beans will bring the most flavor to the dish, but frozen work beautifully too.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb. green beans, chopped
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet. Sauté onion until brown (7-8 minutes).
  2. Stir in green beans, salt, and black pepper. Heat through (3-5 minutes).
  3. Garnish with parsley to serve.
