One of the simplest ways to work with cabbage, slicing it and roasting it with aromatic herbs and spices is also one of the most delicious ways to enjoy it. Play with the herbs and spices you have on hand to make this a special dish all your own.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • 1 cabbage, thickly sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix together oil, garlic, marjoram, and salt.
  3. Lay cabbage slices on the baking sheet and brush both sides with oil mixture. Roast until gently browned on both sides, turning halfway through (30 minutes).
