Making fruit gelatin from a sugary powder or from pure fruit juice is equally easy, so why not go with the more nutritious option? Be sure to choose only juices that are 100% fruit juice, with no added sugar. If you’ve got kids, this is a fun recipe to plan together: let them choose their favorite juice and fruit combos!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups 100% fruit juice
  • 4 Tbsp. gelatin powder
  • 1 cup fresh fruit, chopped

Directions

  1. Bring 3 cups of the juice to a boil.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining cold juice with the gelatin powder. Mix well.
  3. Add the hot juice to the gelatin powder and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in fruit and refrigerate until firmly set, 3-4 hours.
