The beauty of lemon and garlic is that there isn’t a vegetable they couldn’t improve. If you’ve got odds and ends of veggies in your freezer or crisper drawer, add them or swap them in. This simple concept is perfect for most veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Steam broccoli and cauliflower until tender (5-6 minutes)
  2. In small saucepan, mix lemon juice, oil, garlic, and salt. Simmer over low heat to combine flavors (2-3 minutes).
  3. Toss veggies with lemon sauce and garnish with parsley to serve.
