Just a few seconds in the blender and you’ve got some mighty tasty oil. Pair with some good vinegar and a hint of salt and fresh pepper for a complete salad dressing.


  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup chives
  • ½ tsp. salt


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until chives are very finely minced.
  2. Strain mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, and discard solids. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
