This quick, simple recipe never fails to impress. The bold flavors of lemon and pepper pair well with young asparagus and brown rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz.) tuna steaks
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. pepper, or more to taste
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Optional Garnishes*:

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Directions

  1. Brush both sides of tuna with olive oil. Sprinkle liberally with pepper and ¼ teaspoon salt. Broil on high on the top rack to minimum internal temperature of 145ºF (2-3 minute per side).
  2. Garnish with lemon wedges to serve.
