You can find sweet potato fries in just about any restaurant these days, but making them at home gives you the freshest flavor and complete control over your seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp. canola oil
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Toss sweet potato wedges with oil, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
  3. Spread the wedges out on a baking sheet. Bake until browned and tender, turning once (20-25 minutes).
