Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • Cinnamon to taste

Directions

  1. Pour the water, oats, and salt into a medium pot on the stovetop.
  2. Heat until it is boiling, then turn heat to low.
  3. Slowly stir in applesauce and cinnamon.
  4. Cook on low heat and continue to stir until desired texture is reached (5-7 minutes).
