Three Awesome Effects of Exercise

We all know exercise has a ton of benefits (including weight loss), but there are quite a few additional benefits you may not have known about.

Get to sleep easier and faster

Burning calories during the day can help you sleep better and fall asleep faster. Feel free to exercise anytime, except right before bed. Chances are if you do, you’ll be too energized to catch as many z’s.

Have healthy skin

Getting your blood pumping also has a positive effect on your skin. Not only does blood flow help nourish your cells, but sweat will help detoxify your skin (and body). In order to really keep your skin healthy, don’t forget to wear sunscreen if you’re exercising outside.

Be happier

Not only will exercise (and toning or losing weight) help improve your self-esteem, but exercise stimulates certain chemicals in your brain that increases happiness. Last but certainly not least, exercise has been proven to reduce stress. Most of us would agree that less stress is better!

These are only three of the many additional benefits of exercise. What have you seen as an added benefit or side effect from your fitness routine?
