It's interesting to me that our relationship with food is becoming
mores point or stars based rather than using our other senses as in
the past and being able to recognize whole food in its natural form
as the healthiest.

Hi Paul, Thank you for your comment and interest in Guiding Stars.
I agree that some people choose organic foods to limit their
exposure to pesticide residues. As a Registered Dietitian I believe
it is more beneficial to eat a wide variety of available and
affordable non-organic fruits and vegetables that can help to
protect us from cancer than to avoid those same fruits and
vegetables that may have trace amounts of pesticide residues. Of
course, it is important to properly wash and prepare fruits and
vegetables before enjoying them. Lori

on point 1. It seems like organic food choices is more about
what is not in the food than a food having more nutrition.
A non-organic strawberry may have the same amount of vitamin
c in it as an organic strawberry but the non-organic may also have
cancer causing chemicals from pesticides.

You can just add an equivalent amount of white or whole wheat
flour. You'll lose the benefit of the high protein in the soy
flour, but you'll still have some tasty bread! Erin

Is there any substitute for the soy flour? I would love to make
this and have all of the ingredients available except soy flour

Hi, Deb- You can mix one tablespoon of flax meal with 1/4 c. water
(per egg you want to replace) in a blender and add that to your
recipe in the place of eggs. Some people just soak the flax meal in
the water for a few minutes, but I find blending it works better. I
would add another 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the recipe to
offset the loss of fat from the egg yolks so you won't end up with
a terribly dry end product. I also used the Ener-G egg substitute a
ton when my daughter had an egg allergy, and it works great and
it's vegan. I bought mine here:

Thanks for your question! Erin

so I can make this recipe? It looked scrumptious on the news this
